Weight Loss / Weight Gain: Want to change your eating habits and achieve your weight goal? We will create a plan for you that will guide you to achieve your weight goal (lose, gain or maintain) by providing a personalized, healthy eating plan using your food preferences and foods everybody eats.
Wellness: ACTION Fitness patients/clients range from newborns and children to adolescents and adults, including pregnant women and seniors with a wide variety of health conditions, including:

Sports Performance: As a Sports Dietitian, I provide individual and group/team nutrition counseling and education to enhance the performance of competitive and recreational athletes, on-site and during travel. Primary responsibilities include counseling individuals and groups on daily nutrition for performance and health; translating the latest scientific evidence into practical sports nutrition recommendations; tracking and documenting outcomes of nutrition services, serving as a food and nutrition resource for coaches, trainers, and parents; providing sports nutrition education for health/wellness programs, athletic teams, and community groups; and maintaining professional competency and skills required for professional practice.
Grocery Store Tour: It's time to tackle the grocery store and be the wisest consumer you can be! Come with me on a tour of a local grocery store and learn how to spend your money to the best advantage while providing good nutrition for yourself and your family. From end caps to seasonal specials, learn the selling techniques of grocery stores and how to use them. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring something to take notes on.
Body Composition: Body composition testing determines the ratio of lean body mass to fat body mass. Relying on the scale to track fat loss isn't the best way, as the scale doesn't tell you how much muscle mass you have. Too much fat can lead to health problems like heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol and other serious conditions. If you keep your body fat within a reasonable level, you'll be healthier and, of course, slimmer.
